Who knows more about the importance of telling your story than an editor? This is what I found to be true when I created a custom editing website for Sharpen Editing’s Jane Bromley (who I currently use for all of my website copy editing needs). It was such a blast crafting her story into an online presence.
We faced a few challenges trying to catch the full scope of her abilities into a clear message to be conveyed visually. First of all, she provides editing services for everything from technical journals to novels and obviously websites, making it hard to showcase everything she offers from the first page.
Secondly, the price of her services varies greatly depending on the custom editing that she is providing. She wanted to be able to give potential clients an idea of her price range without locking herself into a range that was too high or too low.
